I can’t resist a bright matte lipstick, so when Lise Watier’s new Baiser Velours ($27) arrived at my desk, they immediately brightened up my day. (If you’ve been to Toronto in wintertime, you understand how desperately colour is needed.) Masquerading as a gloss, this liquid lipstick is creamy like butter and dries matte almost immediately after application. It comes in nine vivid shades (all sweetly named after kisses), and here’s a peek at my three favourites. The best part? No lip liner necessary.
