I never wanted a Fendi bag until I got my first peek at ‘Peekaboo’ back in 2009. (The bag in question also inspires cheesy sentences.) I remember watching an episode of The Day Before and Silvia Venturini Fendi showing a sketch of ‘Peekaboo’ to the very enthusiastic Karl Lagerfeld. It’s genius, really: a bag inside a bag. And Ms. Fendi certainly has a great sense of humour with this limited edition version featuring yellow monster eyes peeking out from the dark. I love when luxury doesn’t take itself too seriously.
