As a long time Phillip Lim fan, I was thrilled to hear about his collaboration with Target. Not only is a quarter of my closet already dedicated to the talented designer, but also, now, I can replenish it with items at a small fraction of the regular price.
It’s not a surprise that this collab sticks true to the Phillip Lim DNA. We have classic lines and timeless pieces, often punctuated by playful prints and details. Take, for example, the pumpkin orange interpretation of a classic leopard print, or the classic trench coat, accentuated by vibrant sky blue lining.
In terms of accessories, for those of us who have been craving Lim’s Pashli bag, the Target version certainly does not disappoint. It’s sturdy and ideal for lugging all those fall essentials (in Vancouver, that means umbrella!). I got to play with some of the pieces and take them from day to night. Phillip Lim makes it effortlessly easy.
