I got married in a heel like this. Granted it was Lanvin and the shoe was light cream, but it had a clear heel like this, although slightly more ladylike. It came with two replacement heel tips, and I’m down to one. Now I live in fear of running out. (Although my architect friend says that he can laser cut them for me out of plexiglass, so there is hope.)

Now — the stubborn girl that I am — I’m eyeing these gorgeous acrylic heel pumps from Zara. There is a certain starkness to them that’s really irresistible. So there may be some issues with buying a transparent heel, but when they make you feel like you’re floating on air, who can argue?
