Last week my F/W trend feature was on the little lace dress. As promised, I’ll be featuring affordable options throughout the season. The first one comes from H&M and it’s a genuine classic — something one can pull out of the closet three years from now and it would still be just as lovely. I love the romantic lace print (nothing too revealing) coupled with a fairly demure silhouette. Kind of a late 1960s frock that could be sexied up or down, depending on styling.

I can’t decide whether I prefer it in black or cream. I suppose black is a little bit dressier…But the cream reminds me of something Olivia Palermo or Giovanna Battaglia would wear, and that’s always a good thing. What do you think?
