Like I said earlier this week: I love Valentine’s Day, cheesiness and all. Mine usually involves gifting, good and usually very luxurious food, lots of red wine, chocolate of some sort, five inch stilettos and a romantic film. Preferably something that’s half as amazing as Breakfast at Tiffany’s (minus the Mr. Yunioshi scenes of course). That kiss in the end with Cat in tow just kills me every time.
Because we all love Valentine’s, my Style Collective friends and I teamed up for a group post. It’s eclectic to say the least as it involves fragrances, shaving (yes, shaving), prettifying, cooking and eating heart shaped things, and some suggestive home decor.
Hope you enjoy!

Anya from I’m the It Girl (that’s me!)

Diptyque x Kuntzel+Deygas “Roseros” candles ($94 CAD for the pair at Holt Renfrew)

“Roses are predictable but Roseros are certainly not. French luxury perfumiers Diptyque pay homage to the ‘opposites attract’ love between Beauty and the Beast with a duo of candles, and with help from famed French illustrators Kuntzel+Deygas. One is Rose, a romantic garden rose, and the other, Eros, its spicier counterpart. Together they create a perfect harmony, hence the name Roseros.”
Valentine Heart Pancake Molds ($5.95 CAD at Crate and Barrel)
“For those who are new to our site: we’re all about healthy family food. Scratch the surface, however, and you’ll find pancakes. Every kind you can imagine and more in the works. You could say we’re a little obsessed. So if our sweethearts wanted to spoil us this Valentine’s day they could whip up a batch of these Pumpkin Gingerbread pancakes and make them in these sweet molds. Oh, and let us sleep in.”

Afiya from The Style House
