Well, remember that amazing white eyeliner from Donna Karan’s S/S 10? Well, I bought that Shu Uemura pencil and I love it but I haven’t really had the guts to wear it as an eyeliner, more as a primer/highlighter. Well, I spotted this version of the white lid at Valentino’s Fall Couture show that is a lot more wearable.

It’s a perfect winter holiday look, like sparkly snow on your eyes! But be careful: this can also turn very tacky, very quickly. I consulted Kendra at Beautymark to find the perfect combo of white and blue/silver shimmer. We found two shadows by Stila that, when mixed together, would achieve the look of a divine sparkling Snow Queen. As you can see on Karlie Kloss above, the lighter colour is used as a liner and then blended out with the darker blue-ish silver shade.

Of course, I always provide a cheap alternative! This two-tone pearl finish shadow by Revlon is pretty perfect for the look as well.

Okay, I’m sure you already know this, but don’t attempt this look in the summer. It’s going to look all wrong!
