If this round-up seems a little distracted, it’s probably it is. Forgive me but I was busy drooling over the just-released Lanvin for H&M lookbook (starring none other than my new BFF, Irina Lazareanu) on Nitrolicious. So clearly I wasn’t paying too much attention to the plot. CEO of Pepsi? What? Dan playing mean? Cynthia Rowley? Joe Zee? Something about Serena not dropping her pants for everyone? All that mattered was the ending.

Fashion always plays a great forecaster when it comes to Chuck and Blair. When their outfits are coordinated, you know sparks are going to fly. In this case, the burgundy red hue of Blair’s J.Mendel dress was perfectly matched to Chuck’s shirt. And they both blended into the red walls of the Waldorf residence. You just knew something sinister was bound to happen there. And then it did, following one of the most memorable exchanges between the couple since Season 1. Here it is in all its glory:

Blair: “What are you still doing here Chuck? I threw you out hours ago.”
Chuck: “I wanted to let you know the treaty is over.”
Blair: “Fine with me. This pretense of civility was exhausting.”
Chuck: “Amicable isn’t in our blood. We’ve realized we are not friends. Friends have to like each other. And after what happened tonight, I could never like you.”
Blair: “I could never like you either. In fact, I hate you.”
Chuck: “I never hated anyone more.”
Blair: “Every nerve ending in my body is electrified by hatred.”
Chuck: “There is a fiery pit of hate burning inside me ready to explode.”
Blair: “So it’s settled then.”
Chuck: “We’re settled.” (rips treaty and BAM!)

So, yes, it’s fair to say Blair was on fire this episode. Maybe it was the headband. Those really do give her special powers. Overall, I loved the entire look. I’ve been mildly obsessed with Valli lately and the colour green so this ensemble is hitting the right spot for me. It’s almost like something Carla Bruni would wear.

I have no idea what happened in Serena’s storyline other than her and the maybe-evil-prof were making a lot of sexy eyes at each other. I do know that Serena is at her best when her boobs are out on display (she loves to flaunt those freaks of nature). I love both of her looks, especially the green J.Mendel wrap dress (again, green). It was just incredibly sexy and youthful. Her hair is always perfection and looking at her side braid makes me miss my long hair (*pouts*).

Who else had amazing hair? Robyn. I’m seeing her in less than two weeks live in Toronto. She is just so undeniably cool. Rachel Zoe, not so much.

You know you love me.
