Au revoir, Eva. I’ll miss your cute way of saying “Chuck” over and over: “Old Chuck, Bad Chuck, New Chuck, Good Chuck.” She was adorable, and of course Blair couldn’t resist, as Serena puts it, “Blair Waldorfing” her way into this sweet little romance between a former bad boy and a hooker with a heart of gold. Oh well, c’est la vie!

Blair’s “Blair Waldorfing” was pretty pathetic. She clearly is still in love with Chuck. Jealousy is a fickle bitch, Blair, and now Chuck has declared war. Can’t wait!

As for fashion, it was kind of a low key episode. Blair wore a very cute Reem Acra dress with a pretty LV bag that looks an awful lot like my Marc “Classic Q” satchel (is Marc recycling patterns?). But the cutest thing about the outfit is the little black bow bracelet. If you missed it, rewind and pause. Note to self: you need a bow bracelet.

Serena had such a promising start in Paris, but since returning to New York, she has just been back to her old cougary self. Like Lisa said, her black-and-white blue sequined gown was pretty hideous last week. Like Desperate Housewives hideous. And for the first time since forever, no one wants Serena. Dan chooses Vanessa (who has been hanging out around the loft in her mother’s hippie commune garb) and Nate chooses Miss Porny Eyebrows, Juliet. Oh well Serena, at least you still have Blair.

As for the gowns, they were both a little too daytime-Emmy-awards for my taste. Or maybe it was the styling? I’m just saying, if Serena was going after Dan, why wouldn’t she choose a gown that reveals her famously irresistible assets (read: boobs). Blair’s blue Jenny Packham gown was cute but nowhere close to that stunning red Oscar from Paris. Wait a minute: is she still dating the prince or what?

I loved Eva’s gown but, overall, my favourite outfit was her simple white Joie blouse and Free People floral skirt. It had that innocent-yet-sexy thing that the French girls are so good at. I hate to say it, but I’ll miss her. Now all we have left for guest stars is the porny eyebrow Juliet and the mystery jail guy that for some unknown reason has it in for a bunch of nineteen year old girls.
(I’m still looking for Eva’s gown)

“This means war, Blair. Me versus you. No limits.” Let’s see what you got Chuck.

You know you love me

xoxo,

It Girl
