Floppy Straws

(Vogue Japan, June 2010)
I’ve never been a huge sun worshiper. I have what I call “Lindsay Lohan face,” a face that is covered in freckles (and I’m not even a redhead!). As cute as summer freckles can be, after you reach a certain age, they just don’t seem to go away. So my trusty SPF usually joins forces with a floppy straw hat in the summer for extra protection. Whether plain, with a bow, or adorned with stripes, floppies are always in style and echo old Hollywood glamour (Elizabeth Taylor would approve). Here are my top pics ranging from around $30 to $400 (I know, but it’s so pretty).
