I decided to add a bit more magazine-like content to the blog. I’m going to me creating a few looks during every season. To start off: my dream fall casual ensemble.

I love peg-leg pants all year round. I find they can transform almost any outfit from ordinary to cool. The peg-leg is, of course, best paired with ultra-cool heels. I used my favorite: Chie Mihara shooties (not quite a shoe, not yet a bootie)… a peep toe is still okay for September. Peg-leg pants also require a ultra feminine flow-y blouse in order to balance the silhouette: I love the high cinched waist in the See by Chloe blouse.

As you already know, capes are a must-have item for the season! This Marc wrap/coat/cape is the epitome of fall. The asymmetrical silhouette, the tartan, the collar, the trim… oh my!

The accessories balance everything out. For that little pop of colour: an uber-green Balenciaga tote. Gold jewelry screams fall to me. I went back to the old-faithful Alexis Bittar for the earrings. To tone down the girliness: Alexander McQueen fingerless leather gloves. And for a reference back to green: a cute little cloche hat. To top it all off: an amazing umbrella by Romanelli!
