Pure Fluff, Vogue (September 1994)
Vogue‘s September issue is out, and it’s lovely. What’s current according to the fashion bible? Fall florals (groundbreaking!), swingy little dresses (modelled by Chanel Iman and A$AP Rocky!), bellbottoms (yes!), and fur in all shapes. But, what was the big trend exactly twenty years ago? Colourful faux fur. In this super fun editorial, styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele and photographed by Steven Meisel, the divine Stephanie Seymour models Muppet-like creations by Chanel, Isaac Mizrahi (at his best), and Todd Oldham (oh, how I miss him).
