You probably won’t see me shelling out $400 on a Kenzo sweatshirt, but I’m very much enjoying the return of the comfiest of all clothing items. Have you read Business of Fashion’s “The Rise of the Fashion Sweatshirt”? It’s kind of silly that multiple brands are making their main dough on these banal objects. It’s the status, of course — of the laziest kind. (I mean, look at Kanye’s A.P.C collection — that’s some lazy shit, which apparently took over two years!)

I think, even as an occasional fashion glutton, one should probably not spend over $150 on a sweatshirt. Buy a nice dress shirt instead. And this lovely floral number from Zara.
