When my Friend got these, I joked that they were old lady sandals. But they grew on me. I wasn’t far off about the old lady likeness: I remember seeing them on Spanish grannies during my last trip there. Three years later, this century-old Spanish brand is finally making its maiden voyage in North America.

Of course that a shoe initially designed for Mediterranean villagers would make its way into hipster hearts. This season Riudavets are making their debut at the coolest stores across the continent. It takes about a second to fall in love with them.
