I do wish bike helmets weren’t mandatory in Vancouver but, since they are, one might as well have the most stylish one. Locally-designed Sahn helmets resemble equestrian headwear more than those hideous superhero-looking cycling ones.
I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen a more dapper helmet, at least not since the 1960s futuristic creations of André Courrèges. So elegant, it can be worn with pretty much anything — like cycling basics such as sun dresses and beach tunics. As you can tell, I’m very serious about this sport.
$129 at WALRUS (yes, they do ship!).
PS. No punk-themed MET Institute posts here: this will be a sporty week. Because who wants to be topical?
