Good summer flats are hard to find. I find myself picking up chunky clogs and platforms as my “walkable” options. Silly, I know. But if all sensible shoes were as adorable as these ones by Steven Alan, comfort would be a lot more exciting. 

By ‘sensible,’ I don’t mean just flat, because flat-as-pancake shoes can be just as tough on the foot as heels. I love the low-stacked heel and the interlaced leather straps, providing good arch support. Yeah, yeah, I’m starting to sound all mom-like. But these really are the best of both worlds.
