Dolce & Gabbana S/S 2011
With so much lipstick talk lately, I feel like our good friend lipgloss has been feeling a little left out. It was also a major player on the spring runways: Chanel, Versace and Dolce & Gabbana, which was my favourite. For their garden themed collection, Dolce & Gabbana created a ‘Secret Garden’ lipgloss, a beautiful rosey pink. So beautiful and fresh faced. Why is this line not available in Canada?

I’ve been on a lipgloss kick lately and I discovered three really great ones, all very natural and pout perfecting. First is the brand new Chanel Rouge Coco Shine, which is somewhere between a lipstick and a gloss. I love the ‘Boy’ shade, a pretty neutral pink that looks like you are not wearing anything.

Also newly launched is NARS’ Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil, a crayon/gloss hybrid. It’s perfect and it glides on like butter.

And, finally, a girlie alternative from Vancouver’s own Principessa Beauty, a sweet-smelling ‘Pinkini’ gloss. Truly lovely.
