As I mentioned in my “Prints at Play” post, prints are a huge deal this spring season. The bigger, the better. Remember that old tired rule your mom always told you, that it’s never good to mix prints? Get that out of your head because it’s totally a thing to do. Mix florals with geometric prints (stripes, plaids, polka-dots), tops and bottoms… anything goes. There is only one loose rule: if one print is particularly large, keep the other one small. It worked for Marc Jacobs.
