Whether it’s a tough military look from Balmain or a much softer safari style from Celine, army greens, browns and khakis are sure to make a splash this spring. I call it ‘Safari Army’. Unlike some recent trends, this trend is not a fad but a fashion staple. Everyone should own a cool military-style jacket or a safari-style cape. I particularly like it when it’s mixed with a feminine silhouette like an army jacket over a pretty dress, as on the Phillip Lim runway.
